Premier Peter Malinauskas is wrong to leave the door open to nuclear power, say the SA Greens.
“Nuclear power is costly and dangerous for people and the environment”, said Greens Energy Spokesperson Robert Simms MLC
“Nuclear power has the potential to undermine SA’s credentials as a clean, green state. Rather than leaving one foot in the door to the nuclear industry, the Government should be refocussing its efforts on publicly owned renewables. Premier Malinauskas can’t have his yellow cake and eat it too.”
