Quotes attributable to Sarah Luscombe:
“I love representing my community and am proud of my track record delivering for residents in the Coastal Ward as a local Councillor. I am so excited about continuing to advocate for my community at a state level. As a genuine local, I understand the issues that matter to people in this electorate. The people of Black are frustrated with the major parties failing to deliver on things like cost of living and housing. They are tired of business as usual. They want someone to hold them to account. The Greens will be offering the voters of Black a real choice on 16 November.”
Quotes attributable to Robert Simms MLC, Greens SA Co-Leader
“This by-election is an opportunity for the people of Black to send Labor and the Liberals a clear message on the cost of living and the environment. Green is the new Black! The Greens will be campaigning on our positive plans to reduce costs for families: a Commission of Inquiry into bringing back ETSA as a low cost public energy provider, scrapping public school fees and providing free school breakfasts and lunches. I look forward to hitting the campaign trail in coming days. With the Liberals continuing to focus on themselves and the priorities of the far right, the Greens are offering voters a real alternative.”
Quotes attributable to Tammy Franks MLC, Greens SA Co-Leader
“The people of Black now have a real opportunity to send a message to the Government and the Opposition that their votes are powerful. The days of two-Party politics are numbered, and they can have a truly local Member of Parliament who will put them first.”
