The SA Greens are calling on the State Government to reinstate free carparking and public transport for hospital workers, as a hundred strike across seven hospitals this morning.
"Hospital workers have been carrying a heavy burden during this pandemic. Rather than rewarding these workers, the State Government is instead slugging them with carparking and public transport fees. It's outrageous," said Greens Health Spokesperson, Robert Simms MLC.
"The Greens stand with our state's health workers in this fight and call on the Government to reinstate their free carparking and public transport"
The Greens have also been calling for the State Government to provide hospital workers with 'thank you payments' to bring SA into line with Victoria and NSW.
